Find a Way

As a high school freshman EnnsZone Kicking Founder and CEO, Jacob Enns, realized he wasn’t going to get on the field based on his size, speed, or hands so he had to find another way, so he began training to be a kicker.

After being a three year starter Jacob broke every kicking record at his high school and earned offers to kick at Indiana University, Samford University, and Stetson University.

He committed to Samford as a kicker but transitioned to punting to replace a senior punter. Being unable to afford another year of private school tuition, he earned his AA degree and got recruited as a punter to Western Carolina University.

Jacob later transferred to Arkansas State University and earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. Having a “bonus year” due to Covid he finished his final season of eligibility at University of North Alabama as a grad transfer and finished his career with a 42.3 yd average.

Jacob’s unique journey has taught him how to navigate the recruiting process, train at a high level, and how to be successful as a kicker and punter. Clearly God opened the right doors at the right time to use Jacob’s abilities on the football field.

After finishing his collegiate career, Jacob moved back home to Tampa, Florida to launch EnnsZone Kicking to help specialists improve their technique and to reach their goals for the next level of football.
